Lemsip Chesty Cough SyrupLemsip cough for chesty cough oral solution contains the active ingredient guaifenesin. Guaifenesin is a type of medicine called a cough expectorant. It's thought to work by increasing the volume of fluid produced in the airways. This helps to thin and loosen the mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up.
Each 5 ml oral solution contains 50 mg Guaifenesin. Each 5 ml of oral solution contains 4 g of sucrose.
How to take:
Adults and children aged 12 years and over should take two to four 5ml spoonfuls (10ml to 40ml) four times a day as needed. Don't exceed the recommended dose.
